However, the term FFC usually refers to the extremely thin flat cable often found in high density electronic applications like laptops and cell phones.

FPC Connector Application:
FPC (FFC Connector) connectoris produced with soft polymer material (material can be folded, bending) in PCB connectors.
Specifically used with LCD displays to drive Circuit (PCB). Other uses include all kinds of digital communication products, portable electronic products,
computer peripheral equipment, measuring instruments, automotive electronics and other fields,
such as mobile phones, digital cameras, laptops, MID, MP3, 4, 5, PSP, sound system, etc.
